This is a wheel thrown durable sanded White Stoneware clay Jug. It is a stately 24 cm high.
It has been glazed with a shiny Tin White glaze on the Interior, and the exterior has been glazed with a Dark Pink glaze, leaving a band of bare clay showing the hues of orange and differing stone colours across the base.. Some of the bare clay shines through in some areas.
This item is part of my Stately Jug / Pitcher series.

Although the Ceramic clay is durable stoneware, the fragility of Ceramics still exists.
The handle is hand made and attached to the body of the Jug, so remains fragile.

These take me from 2 – 4 weeks to complete available as made to order in different colours.
