Product Details

This small bottle was thrown in my London Studio. It is decorated with a mix of different pattern and so like may of my works is unique. The decoration extends all over the bottle, including the base and it has a matt texture. It is glazed on the inside so it can be used for one or two small flowers ( the opening measures 1 cm), is so desired.

Weight: 0.2 kg
Dimensions: 8 x 10 cm
Care Instructions:

Hand wash or wipe with care. I find that he best way to remove dust is just to hold the bottle under a running tap and then leave to dry.

I love to throw in porcelain, despite its challenges. I also prefer to create shapes as the clay and the day dictate but also I do also undertake some production throwing as I value the discipline this demands. Once a piece is thrown and has be turned and biscuit fired I enjoy the blank canvas it provides on which to add my mix of patterns. Making each piece different keeps them fresh and I hope interesting to look at. In an exhibition review from 2018 i was thrilled to have my work described as “demanding to be looked at”.
