Story:
Stockmarr is a contemporary artist producing collaged 3-D artworks from old books, record sleeves and found ephemera.
With an ethos of storytelling and repurposing at its heart, materials are rescued and recycled into, what appears as decorative book art, but on closer inspection often display a playful, contemporary twist.
Old books, records and Encyclopaedias and their titles are her starting point. Apertures are laser cut into their surfaces with hand cut ephemera, assembled in layers.
