The earrings are made out of 18ct yellow gold with faceted Prasiolite drops. The drops have been cut into an elongated onion shape and the colour is a beautiful pale green.
The drops can be removed from the circular wire and replaced with other small pearl drops for example.
The overall length is 3.9cm, the overall width is 1.9cm
The Prasiolite drops are 20mm long and 8mm wide.

The gold wire can be wiped with a gold cloth, I would recommend to store them flat in a box with the drops removed so they don't get bent.
The earrings are loosely based on a roman design. I am from Cologne and the jewellery in the Roman Germanic museum is inspirational and beautiful.
I try and make my pieces versatile, the Prasiolite drops can be removed and replaced with other small drops such as pear shaped pearls for example.
The elongated shape of the stones are very elegant and sparkly and I love the colour of this stone!
