Product Details

Throughout history tiles have been used to protect surfaces as well as being decorative and life-enhancing! This large trivet or platter makes a perfect table centre piece; useful for hot dishes or condiments, oil & vinegar or wine bottles.

Weight: 4 kg
Dimensions: 55 x 20 x 3.5 cm
Care Instructions:

Piccolpasso Handmade Tiles are fired to a very high temperature and are therefore very resilient. They are non-porous and easily wipeable.

My handmade tiles are each thoughtfully and lovingly created, then arranged together to give rhythm and interest. The tiles are mounted on a painted board, making an attractive and practical piece to be enjoyed for years.
One of my favourite colours of the moment is quince, which here, in a tactile matt glaze, hovers delicately between yellow and green. These long quince tiles are then off-set with moody indigo colours and delicate brushwork.
