Made of stoneware it can be washed with washing up liquid by hand
Each piece begins with a slab of raw stoneware clay, carefully rolled out by hand and with a rolling pin—a process that takes about an hour to achieve the perfect thickness and texture. Once the clay is ready, it’s skillfully shaped, joined, and assembled into the sturdy form of the shape, with every curve and edge smoothed by hand.
It then takes a slow, deliberate journey to completion, spending two weeks drying naturally. This careful drying process ensures the clay is strong enough to withstand the intense heat of the kiln, where it’s fired twice to achieve its final form. The first firing solidifies the structure, while the second, after applying the glaze, locks in the design.
