Made from oak cluster and fumed oak, this cabinet has the style and look of an art-deco piece of furniture. The upwards curve of the cabinet sides and legs is reflected in the door handles.

Inside the cabinet are twelve butler style dovetail drawers, each drawer subdivided into storage compartments. The drawers are lined with a fine quality green suede.

The finish is hardwax oil and beeswax.

This cabinet stands 95cm high, 63cm wide and is 42cm deep.

Production time is approximately 6-8 weeks.

Weight 50 kg
Dimensions 63 × 42 × 95 cm

This cabinet was made as a commission for a couple who collected jewellery. I had a similar cabinet on display at a previous ‘Handmade in Chelsea’ exhibition, but that cabinet had internal shelves. I was asked by the couple at the show if I could make the same cabinet, but with twelve drawers inside, and each drawer with a different number of compartments. Of course, I replied.

That is the beauty of a commissioned piece. It can be made to exactly your requirements.
