Neptune wave lamp is a deep green porcelain lamp. Wave designs are carved by hand through the layer of colour to reveal the pure porcelain white colour. The designs are striking when lit and the lamp gives a warm diffused light.
Slip cast in porcelain clay and fired without a glaze to give a natural matt clay finish, the lamps are tactile and organic.
Porcelain is a unique and special material as when it is thin the light shines through it, making it perfect for lighting as it gives a beautifully warm, diffused, soft light.
Includes 3m natural colour woven fabric cord, nickel E14 bulb holder and Tala Sphere bulb and UK plug. Please enquire for to specify alternative cord colours.

Although thin and delicate in appearance, high fired porcelain ceramic is very hard and strong.
If they need to be cleaned, they can be removed from the bulb holder and carefully washed with warm water and a little washing up liquid and left to air dry.
A stones throw from the beach, the sounds and smells of the sea blow into my studio. As a sea swimmer I am transfixed by the glimpses of waves I see as I swim, the waterline as I am emersed and the waves breaking on the shore.
For their translucency the lamps as cast very thin and as such I am precise and careful when carving into the shapes. East lamp is individual as no two are the same.
