This exquisite marquetry Christmas Eve Keepsake Box has been lovingly handcrafted from solid Oak. The luxurious Red Ribbon that wraps round the wooden box has been hand cut from Bird’s Eye Maple Veneer. The Christmas label is hand cut from Sycamore and Coloured Tulipwood.
Lift the lid and the Christmas theme continues with marquetry Nutcrakers, Teddy, Christmas decorations and candy canes. All have been intricately hand cut out of various veneers and painstakingly put together to form the Christmassy marquetry design.
The small handle is solid rosewood and has been hand carved from what used to be a grand piano damper. The Walnut dowels not only add a decorative feature to the jewellery box but also add strength to the mitre joint. Ensuring this beautiful Christmas memory box can be treasured and admired for generations to come.

All my products are finished with a hard wearing modern Polyurethane lacquer so unlike oil finishes it needs no specific aftercare. To ensure no major colour change in the wood I would suggest, if possible, to keep out of direct sunlight.
I get my inspiration for my designs from nature and my travels around the world. My aim is to create pieces that will enrich their surroundings and will be admired for generations to come.
