This piece is called ‘Left-right’ chest of drawers, because the drawer fronts curve alternatively in a left to right fashion.

It is made from oak with dark fumed oak details on the drawer fronts. The drawer boxes are made from maple with oak drawer bottoms.

The dimensions of this chest of drawers are: 110cm high, 69cm wide and 46cm deep.

Hardwax oil and beeswax is used as the finish.

The production time for this piece is approximately six to eight weeks.

Weight 60 kg
Dimensions 69 × 46 × 110 cm

When I made this chest of drawers, I was unsure if I wanted to have the fronts arranged in the left-right configuration. Although I could see the finished piece in my mind, I needed to see it for real to answer the question. I am glad to say I was happy with what I saw.

I have made smaller dressing table sized versions of this chest of drawers, that can be used to store jewellery. Just the same, but just in miniature.
