This large jewellery box is made from sycamore and has the grain pattern arranged to run diagonally across the lid of the box. A walnut detail runs around the edge of the box.
Inside the jewellery box are three beech jewellery storage trays. Below the trays is a void area for storing other items of jewellery.
The box and trays are lined with an aubergine coloured faux suede material.
The box is 40.5cm wide (left to right), 22cm deep (front to back), and 19.5cm high (top to bottom).

Over time the box will develop a natural patina. No special care is required, other than an occasional dusting with a soft cloth. Never use a spray-on furniture polish on the box.
The sycamore used for this box has a ripple grain pattern. I thought running the grain diagonally across the lid of the box would add a more eye-catching detail rather than left to right.
Viewing the box all round just shows how the light bounces off the ripple.
