I’ve had this beautiful Lapis Lazuli gemstone for a while and it was only recently that the right design came to me. Lapis always looks like the night sky to me, with it’s deep blue colour and flecks of gold that look like stars or far-off galaxies. In fact, The ancient Roman natural historian Pliny the Elder called lapis lazuli “a fragment of the starry firmament,” in admiration of its deep blue with twinkling bits of gold.
This one of a kind ring has a wide band measuring 10mm and is pierced with stars while the Lapis is a statement at 29mm long and 17mm wide.
