Description:

A lovely pearl ring featuring a natural colour iridiscent Keshi Pearl.
The setting and ring shank are both sterling silver, the shank being open on one side so it can be sized easily up or down a couple of sizes. It is currently a finger size Q. The shank tapers from 8mm to 3mm.
Head size: 26.6mm x 18.6mm
Height off finger : 15.4mm

Weight 10.5 gm
Dimensions 2.6 × 1.8 × 1.5 cm
Care Instructions:

The ring is rhodium plated so will not tarnish. As it is quite large and has a pearl I would not recommend to wear it every day !

Story:

I really love these Keshi Pearls as they are so sculptural . They are entirely natural in shape and colour and are pure mother-of-pearl.
A Keshi pearl comes into existence when the pearl oyster expells the nucleus with the pearling process continuing.
The name Keshi is only used for pearls coming from saltwater pearl oysters, these can also be South Sea or Tahiti pearls!
