These hand blown tumblers have been made by hollowing out a log found on a local farm. The result is a highly individual drinking glass which feels very nice in the hand, directly reflects our Lake District landscape and has a character and ‘soul’ all its own.
These glasses come alive with a drink, their texture reflecting the light.
Perfect for special occasions, gifts, or simply adding a little something extra to evening drinks with dinner, this glass also works well as a decorative flower vase.
As these glasses are handmade, appearance may vary from glass to glass giving each a unique character.
Dimensions: height approx. 12cm, width approx. 54mm, holds approx. 210ml of your favourite drink
Made with borosilicate glass. Can be used with hot drinks.
We live in the heart of the beautiful English Lake District, surrounded by natural textures and landscapes which are constantly changing with the weather and the seasons.
Part of a range of glasses that I make, exploring ways of directly reflecting these textures in glass, these glasses are blown using a hollowed-out silver birch log to form an imprint.
