A streamlined shape, muted but complimentary colours and soft pure wool yarn, gives Toby a stylish appeal with Scandi overtones and vintage under notes.
The detailed coral hand stitched band is echoed in the inner rim visible when looking up so that this shade is in equal measure a statement by day and mesmerising by night.

Wool is naturally fire resistant. However, please only use energy saving light bulbs, this way you will be helping the environment too. LEDs are super energy efficient, cold to the touch, so ideal for these shades. The light bulb you chose should not directly touch any of the yarn.
The LolaLux collection was born from the urge to create uniquely crafted lamp shades that embody a strong aesthetic appeal and embrace interior trends with free abandon to the irresistible draw of the organic shape.
The product of over 25 hours of stitching and weaving, this process cannot be rushed as it involves precision and accuracy. So there’s lots of love there.
Super easy and quick to hang with no further expense required. So you can enjoy the beauty of these shades as soon as you get them out of the box.
As this planet gives me so much, I want to respect it by using packaging that has been used before. Although I’m not a fan of bubble warp for obvious reasons, lots of my raw materials comes wrapped in it. The best we can both do is keep reusing it! I hope you agree.

ZziniHome has been on a thrilling journey of discovery and intense creativity.
For as long as I can remember, I have been reluctant to allow mass produced products in my home and have shun the mass owned. With a training in the arts, a love of craft as a mindful process, objects to me should be supercharged with meaning – by definition not readily available everywhere you turn – bring joy and make me smile.
It is with this in mind that I have become increasingly drawn to lighting as a form to express creativity.
The process has taken me though numerous misguided turns, working and reworking techniques, experimenting with shapes and sizes and researching and sourcing the right material.
It demands tons of accurate and methodical work as each thread is picked up, woven and sewn through.
It’s not unusual for me to spend over 25 hours to complete each of these shades but I find the process both exhilarating and cathartic in equal measure. The tactile feel of the wool, the rhythmic weaving of the frame and my imagining who it will delight, keeps me focused.
The result is a stunning range of artisanal lamp shades, beautiful by day, magical by night and always enchanting.
