This elegant contemporary pair of stud earrings is hand-carved from genuine 925 silver wire using traditional silversmithing techniques in my London studio. The square wire is bent into a ring and threaded through the hole in the front stud. As a post is soldered in place, patina is applied to the ring, and satin polish added by hand. A standard silver butterfly nut secures the post to the ear.
Depending on your taste, patina can or can not be applied to the ring finding. Measures: H 15 mm/0.6 in, 3.3 gr in weight (2 earrings); ring finding Ø10 mm/0.4 in; nut Ø5 mm/0.2 in.
