The Accidental Stitcher

I create extraordinary colourful hand embroidery. I’m drawn to nature and to stories where I find constant inspiration. My wearable art is designed to be both brooches and wall art and depicts nature including birds and animals. Each piece is colourful and is lovingly created.
Why the name? Well I have a Degree in Sculpture but I accidentally found myself falling in love with embroidery after my mother gave me some of her embroidery threads.
I mainly use vintage and second hand threads to create my work. I love the fact that the thread is passed on through generations and used by me to create art.
