Sue Gregor

I make handmade contemporary jewellery each piece, if it is a necklace, earring, or cuff, is individually handmade using real flowers and leaves to create the designs. I collect dry and press the leaves and flowers and then use them to create the designs. The leaves or flowers perish in the process so each piece is unique as are all leaves and flowers . The surface is embossed with fine detail of the foliage shows. They are a memory or a ‘fossil’ of each individual leaf or flower. My work changes with the seasons as plants grow up and die down. I have always found observing how beautiful the world is at this moment, has got me over many things. So I want to share this with the people who wear my jewellery.

Made with 100% Recycled Acrylic

It is important to me that I am not contributing to the increase of plastic waste but am doing something to re-purpose some of it. All the acrylic I use is made from 100% recycled materials. It is also free from volatile organic compounds and hydrofluorocarbon making it more environmentally friendly.
