With just a whisper of sparkle, this Gannymede necklace makes a striking and sophisticated alternative to traditional diamond necklace. The 14K yellow gold 10mm sphere is flush set with 8 little diamonds and hung on a beautiful chain. A chic embodiment of quirky sophistication, it has a wear-with anything quality you will love.
Do not swim, sleep or bathe in your jewellery.
Avoid perfumes, lotions or cosmetics and after each wear, gently wipe off make up or rinse it with some baby soap and dry it off gently but thoroughly.
All metals naturally oxidise with the air, so store in your jewellery box
As the summer nights rendered the Moon so bright, I was completely entranced with how bright the moon was and how large it looked, when we are so small, so far away. This made me wonder about the Moon and the other moons in the solar system that orbit our planets.
I then researched our moons, large or small, looking at the craters of the surface, or gases where there was no hard surface and just found it fascinating. I then experimented with paint, watercolours, paper, clay and other materials to create jewellery moons, and how to make moon-like textures, with diamonds scattered to emulate craters.
Each moon element is completely hand-made by first creating the ‘moon’ by melting down solid gold and then hammering them flat to make organic moon shape, doming them to give them a spherical feel and texturing them with hammers and sandpaper to give them a moon-like texture. The diamonds are then flush set to create little sparkles on your very own little moons.

London based designer, Diana Sherling has always had a passion for history, art and craft and just simply doing good. In 2015, Diana left her high flying career in advertising to follow her dream of starting her own business to design and make ethical fine jewellery and her brand flourishes year on year.
Her core belief is that beauty is found in between disciplines. Her constant learning and breadth of passion in art, history, culture, craft, music and philosophy inspire her to create jewellery that is inspired by ‘where disciplines merge’.
Whilst her passion for the environment drives her sustainable independent business where all her materials are sustainable, responsible or up cycled, all her jewellery is designed and made in house by her with production processes that are green and eco. Diana works directly with diamond and gemstone families around the world sourcing the very best stones but also supporting local communities.
Diana is very committed to creating an ethical jewellery business and has spoken at the International Jewellery London, Wolf and Badger, Best of British about being an independent ethical jeweller and a jewelpreneur as well as being nominated by The Jeweller, Professional Jeweller, Wolf and Badger and Jewel Street as an Ethical Jeweller to Watch.
