To keep silver pieces shining, clean regularly with a toothbrush and hot, soapy water. Gold plated items can be cleaned carefully with a soft cloth but anything more could potentially take the plating off. Polished and plated jewellery should be stored in an airtight box with an anti- tarnish tab.
Ruth’s sculptural, geometric work is inspired by the distorted and fragmented reflections within the architecture of her urban environment. Hand fabricated in silver, the simple geometric form of these studs echoes the shadows cast across the planes of a city, and references structural, architectural elements.
