A fine silver bird wing hung on a 42cm long rubber cord.
This is a happy ending to a sad story of a poor wee bird flying into a window and not surviving. The little soul departed and its body was preserved. This wing was dried and painted with many layers of fine silver before being kiln fired. During the firing process the wing burnt away and the silver sintered creating a fine silver version of the real wing preserving this beautiful piece of nature forever.
This piece is hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office as 999 fine silver.
