A pair of handblown shot glasses made in the English Lake District, have been textured with locally foraged ferns gathered on many walks. The result is a highly individual drinking glass which directly reflects the landscape of the English Lake District, filled with character and soul to enhance any drinking experience. The red swirl in the foot adds a note of colour.
The glasses come alive with a drink, their texture complementing the liquid as it reflects the light. They are perfect for shots, schnapps (We use them for our homemade pine and cherry vodkas) or even sherry.
Dimensions: height approx. 8.5cm. Holds approx. 30ml of your favourite drink.
As these glasses are handmade, appearance may vary from glass to glass giving each a unique character.
Handmade with borosilicate glass
We live in the heart of the beautiful English Lake District, surrounded by natural textures and landscapes which are constantly changing with the weather and the seasons.
Part of a range of glasses that I make, exploring ways of directly reflecting these textures in glass, these glasses are blown using a mould lined with ferns, to form an imprint.
