Ceramic Raku fired pieces with medium size crackle glaze.
I am using a mould to create the body but some of the part are entirely sculptured. This means the animals are slightly different size and making each one truly unique.
These pictures are general pictures of each item, the crazing will be different with each animal due to the unique nature of Raku.

The pieces are not suitable for outdoor.
It is recommended to gently wipe the surface with a cloth to remove dust and polish the pieces with liquid wax to guarantee a shiny result.
Raku is low fired so it is really fragile.
I am an Italian artist who was born in a historical town called Urbino. I’ve always played with clay since I was a child and I decided to use this particular material to express my creativity.
The colours, materials and atmosphere of my traveling, provide me with colour and texture influences for my pieces.
Each texture and shape used during the production reminds me of a specific place I visited.
During my childhood I’ve been surrounded by animals and I used to stare at their movements, as I was fascinated by them.
This has inspired me to create different animals from all around the world resulting in individual ceramic sculptures.
The outcome of the used technique results in the creation of unique pieces, which cannot be duplicated.
