Description:
This porcelain jug has an upholstered dupion silk textile appearance but is fully functional to be used as a jug or a vase. The interior, handle and upholstery pins are glazed and the braid effect on the handle and the pins have a mother-of-pearl lustre to catch the light. There are three sprigged buttons on the base. The jug is 12cm tall and the base is 11cm cm diameter.

I aim to make ceramics that are designed to be used but have a sense of intrigue about them. They may look soft and squashy but they are purely porcelain.
