'white backed' silver, 18ct Gold plate

Care Instructions:

Use Silver dip to remove any tarnish from your 'white baked' silver earrings. Do not rub the surface with a cloth as this will remove the finish. For Gold plated earrings rub gently with a soft toothbrush and warm soapy water.

Story:

Big earrings are my favourite type of jewellery, and these ones a pretty special. With a lightweight feel they have a stunning visual impact from all angles when worn.

Made from sterling Silver with 9ct solid Gold ear wires or 18ct Gold plate. The ‘white baked’ finish is an applied layer of fine Silver on the surface.

Fiona McAlear Jewellery

My jewellery is influenced by line, form and repetition in the natural world around me. Be it trailing ivy or falling cherry blossom petals. I aim not to replicate the natural form, but to create a handmade version of it, with its own unique aesthetic.

My four current collections reference flowers selected for their traditional uses to adorn the body, and values that time has bestowed upon them.
I aim to create precious, timeless jewellery that will last a lifetime. And then have another.

My studio is based at Yorkshire Artspace in Sheffield where I make jewellery for custom orders and for selected Galleries.
