Chameleon ‘Enrapt’

9cm x 7cm x 6cm

Edition of 100

Bronze cast in the UK to the highest standard and using recycled metals. Certified carbon neutral.

Each sculpture comes with a block of ash 9cm x 9cm x 4.5cm. It is not attached as the chameleon is designed to either sit on a shelf edge or be mounted on the block. Sculpted to sit together as a pair or to stand alone.

These chameleons were sculpted as a pair as the photo with the two shows. They are for sale individually or at a slightly discounted price to buy together in a separate listing.

Weight: 410 gm
Dimensions: 9 × 7 × 10.5 cm
Care Instructions:

The sculpture has been lacquered and waxed and requires minimal care. Light dusting with a soft cloth and an occasional polish with an inert, non abrasive wax without cleaning agents should be all it ever needs.

Based on juvenile Belalanda Chameleons, Furcifer belalandaensis, from south west Madagascar. Listed as critically endangered on the IUCN red list this species is extremely threatened by extinction primarily due to habitat loss.

The sculpture with its mouth open is titled ‘Agape’ and the one with its mouth closed and paying attention is titled ‘Enrapt’. They seem to be having some sort of conversation.
