Summary

Create your own beautifully painted ceramics with Emily Dawe of Oh Hello Maker. Using one of her past craft kits as inspiration, Emily will show you how to create a beautiful Love Birds vase (the piece you will paint won’t be the same as the image). Starting on paper first, you’ll be encouraged to have a play around with the acrylic paints and even create your own designs if you wish. This workshop is suitable for all abilities, any children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Please note, these are decorative pieces only and are not food safe. These are unglazed vases which will need sealing if they are to be filled with water. Sealant will be available to purchase on the day for £1

Oh Hello Maker

Having previously worked on some of the big Homes magazines, Emily Dawe has been teaching workshops for the past six years, including Kirstie Alsopp’s Handmade Fair at Hampton Court and also appearing on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas as a judge. She can turn her hand to an array of different craft practices, but her most popular online class through lockdown was her Modern Calligraphy class. Last year she launched a modern craft subscription business - Oh Hello Maker - beautifully curated craft kits for beginners and experts alike. It’s Emily’s mission to bring creativity to all, to encourage people to switch off from their busy lives and make something they are really proud of.
