* The ‘Cascade’ cushion features 4 strands of wool roving which are hand-manipulated to create a flowing pattern across the cloth.
* 50% Merino wool roving, 20% Merino lambswool, 30% mercerised cotton and a 100% linen backing

* Spot wash with a damp cloth
* Steam iron front and back to freshen - slight felting helps to maintain longevity
* Use a de-fuzzer to remove bobbles regularly
* This collection of artwork was inspired by the West Coast of Canada and the salmon migration. The designs aim to interpret the flow of water, the path of the salmon through the rivers and the colours & textures of the fish, sea and coastline of this Pacific region.
* The ‘Cascade’ cushion was woven in my Oxford studio using merino wool roving in a flowing pattern, then carefully sewn with a concealed zip.
* Each cushion takes approximately one day to complete.
