Description:
Needle felted sculpture of Boxing Hares. Made from solid wool made around a wire armature.
The Hares stand on a reclaimed timber plinth with mill bobbin wheels. Both the plinth and the bobbins have their original paint with a lovely patina enhanced by dark wax.

Story:
I am an Artist based in Holmfirth on the edge of the Peak District National Park where I also have my home studio.
Inspired by British wildlife, childhood memories , antique & vintage toys.
I feel very lucky when I spot hares sitting or running across the fields that are at the back of our home.
