I wanted to make some pottery that really highlighted this lovely glaze, the vase is made from flat slabs of clay cut out using templates and formed into a vase shape each petal shape which was based on peonies is attached individually. It took a fortnight to dry before its first firing and then mixing up the glaze ingredients it went back into the kiln at 12oo Celsius
