Large 38 cm Black textured clay Jug.
Made from Spanish Vulcan black Stoneware clay, it has been hand built using slabs.
Spriggs and textures have been added to enhance the contrasts between matt black and shiny Tin white glaze on the interior. The Black clay shows through the glaze.
The handle has been textured to add to the contrasts.

Story:
I love making hand built textured slab jugs, this one has been made from satin finish black clay, and I have enhanced some of the different surfaces to add contrasts in the areas on the surface.
