Care Instructions:

Vitreous enamel is glass fused to a metal base. Due to its fragile nature, the enamel my crack, chip or break if it is dropped onto a hard ground, knocked against a hard surface or bent.
Therefore care should always be taken when wearing, storing and cleaning.

I wanted to bring together my sculptural and enamel work and decided that the best way was in a brooch form.
The amagalmation of both techniques makes a very special and unique piece.
The colour gives the sculpture a frame and allows it to stand out.

I am Luciana, originally from Argentina and based in East London. I have been making jewellery for over 10 years.
I specialise in the lost wax technique and have recently incorporated enamelling into some of my work.
My pieces are figurative wearable sculptures, the hand sculpting of them a slow, intricate and instinctive process that can be obsessive.
The themes of my work are freedom, love, play and movement.
I believe the piece is finished when it finds its wearer.

** Please note that Luciana is on holiday till 30/08 and will be able to fulfil orders from then.
