An original painting, capturing a Parisian moment in time.
The artist uses a family run firm to print her works onto silk; once the silk is returned, she hand cuts and rolls the edges of each item, so it has her touch.
Ailish is happy to answer questions about her items and welcomes contact.
The square is designed to be worn as a scarf, wrap, hairpiece….or if you cant bear to wear…this piece could become a framed piece of art. What will yours become? This is truly wearable art.

Caring for your items
Silk scarves should be gently hand washed.
Scarves can be ironed on medium heat. For best results iron on reverse.
Set under the Eiffel Tower, this original painting is a sister piece to Pistachio Smiles. In painted terms, it visually describes the moment in time, when one sees the sun after the rain. The artist painted this piece when visiting her family in Paris, thus the memories and moments are real. The vivid colour palette, makes it a beautiful bright scene for the wearer – what is your sunny memory? Try to identify yourself as the owner within the symbolic meaning of this painting….then it will truly be yours.

Ailish is a practicing artist who has had two solo exhibitions to date, one in London and another in the North East of England. Printed Textiles is Ailish’s main focus. Using her original works, she develops them into digital files. A British based fabric printing company is then assigned to print the designs on her favoured cloth. She uses this digitally printed material to create Scarves, Pocket Squares, wall mountable art and jewellery. As a practitioner she sees this as a crucial move forward; “one off” art can now be available for a wider audience to view and collect. Coupled with this, the fabric she prints serves as a durable catalogue of her design highlights.
